Blackhawks game
After many months of asking, when can we go to a Blackhawks game? We took the boys to Sunday's game against the Minesota Kings. The Blackhawks won 4-2. When Tom watches the game on TV and during the National Anthem, Jacob and Braden stand up and just watch them sing. At the game, Braden had such huge smile on his face, as the crowd got louder, Braden got more excited. It was really cute. They had such a good time. Braden got to see Tommy E Hawk and Jacob saw a picture of Tony Esposito. Jacob's favorite part of the game was when the Blackhawks scored two empy net goals. We sat in section 117 row 17(i think) and according to Jacob he was really high up. It was funny to hear him say that 1. considering how high you really can go 2. 17 rows off the ice is not high up. Welcome back Patrick Sharp

Going Green.......
Well, Tom, Nick and I got to celebrate St. Patty's Day in the city this past weekend. We had a lot of fun at John Barleycorn's. We meet up with some of Tom's friends from work. We had a really great time. It is so fun to see so many people in green. I am especially partial because green is my favorite color. We then went to our good friend's Joseph's house. OMG!!! It was beautiful, what a view of the city. And for those who live locally, we have a new bar to hang out at, Tavern off the Fox.
Jacob and Braden got to play at Grandma and Papa's house. They got to play outside, went out for breakfast on Sunday. But most fun of all, they got to see Oreo crazy dog.

So, I have been slacking on my New Year's Resolution, but isn't that what you usually do with those? It has been a crazy couple of weeks. First of all I need to proclaim about how bad a mother I am. I did not wish my boys Happy Birthday on our blog. So, Happy Birthday Jacob and Braden. Braden turned two! I cannot believe how big he is getting. He is growing up so fast. Jacob turned four. I really feel there is a big difference between three and four. He just acts like a little man. We also had our friend Gregory's 1st birthday as well. It has been a lot of fun celebrating the last couple of weeks.

Ok, so months after creating the blog, I really have not kept up with this. So as one of my New Years Resolutions, I am going to try. 11 days into the new year, not a bad start. Last night we took Jacob to see The Tale of Despereaux. Tom and I really didn't want to see this movie but the other two were not available. It was a very cute movie. Jacob loved it. He was so cute, he ate a small popcorn himself. He really had a good time.
